Experience optional. Determination required. Sense of humor critical.

Informational meeting:

We've earned the right to send a team of 40-year-old and up women to the 2018 Dragon Boat Club Crew World Championships in Szeged, Hungary, July 17-22. The team, which goes by the name Malia Mayhem, is looking for a few additional motivated women interested in earning a spot in that boat and rounding out the roster.

No experience? No problem! If you can make the grade in our fitness program, we can help you make the grade as a paddler. Training begins November 1.

Spots also available on single- and mixed-gender crews considering events like the 2019 Pan American Championships in Trinidad & Tobago. Other teams especially eager for new members are our premier (18-39 age bracket) and grand master (50+) crews.

So, if you're between the ages of 18 and 80, can sustain moderate-to-intense cardiovascular exercise for 15 minutes at a time, and have no objection to getting stronger, leaner, and faster, join us for some wine, cheese and answers. Don't want to paddle but have nerves of steel or powerful lungs? We can train you to steer or drum.

RSVPs to liisa@maliaracing.com appreciated (will help ensure we have enough wine).
