Malia Dragon Boat Racing

Try-it-Tuesdays

We're designating three tuesdays this summer as an opportunity for anyone to come and try dragon boating.

  • July 18 - FULL
  • August 1
  • August 15

Come by yourself or bring a friend (or two) - all are welcome. No experience necessary. FREE. Space is limited - pre-registration is highly recommended. If you haven't already RSVP'd on meetup.com, Facebook or via email, please get in touch with us asap. We can't guarantee there will be space for you otherwise! If you have already RSVP'd - you can download a waiver here. Bring it with you to the session or email it to info@maliaracing.com.

All sessions meet at the Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center, 234 Penny Lane, Burlington VT.

What to Bring
- water bottle
- change of clothes (you'll probably get wet) or a towel to sit on for the ride home
- small drybag if you want to bring anything on the boat that needs to stay dry (e.g. keys, phone, etc. - though we recommend that you leave those on-shore with one of us).
- USCG - approved life vest, if you have a favorite. Otherwise we've got you covered. Sorry, no inflatables!

What to Wear:
- wicking sportswear - cotton gets heavy and uncomfortable when wet
- flip flops or water shoes
