Team-Building SessionsDragon boating is an ancient Chinese team sport that is not only exhilarating and fun, but also promotes physical fitness, trust and teamwork. A boat generally holds either 10 or 20 paddlers, and while getting it to move forward seems pretty easy (stick paddle in water + take a stroke = forward motion, right?) it’s not quite that simple. The trick for each team is to figure out how to get the boat to actually glide forward. And that takes a collective commitment, rather than a focus on the self. Our group team building sessions build trust, camaraderie and cohesiveness. They break barriers (imagine the CEO and an entry-level clerkworking side-by-side). They’re also a ton of good, splashy, fun. Sessions are held right on the beautiful Burlington waterfront, steps away from great restaurants, shopping and a host of other activities to round out your day. Each session includes dry-land instruction, an energizing warm-up, one or two on-water practices, a snack-break, personalized and group feedback, and even a mini-race (because it is a competitive sport after all, not to mention the fastest-growing team water sport in the world!). Here’s how one can fit your group:
